• Lead daily branch operations with a focus on efficiency, professionalism, and excellence.
• Inspire, coach, and develop your team to provide exceptional customer service.
• Drive sales, oversee inside sales activities, and support routing and delivery operations.
• Manage local inventory and ensure accuracy across all processes.
• Build strong partnerships with vendors and lead branch-level marketing initiatives.
• Review and respond to reports, trends, and business needs to keep the branch performing at its best.

• 2+ years of leadership and management experience (retail, distribution, or similar preferred).
• A management or related degree is a plus—but equivalent experience counts.
• Experience in welding, industrial supply, or related industries strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of retail operations: route delivery, customer relations, DOT regulations, etc.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (or similar programs) to manage reports and data.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

MWSCO, a family-owned business that values integrity, service, and growth, is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team!  This role is perfect for someone with experience in outside sales and welding supplies, but we’re also open to training the right candidate who brings energy, ambition, and a customer-first mindset. 

What You'll Do:

• Developing strong relationships and becoming the go-to contact for customers
• Actively seeking out new business opportunities in your region
• Promoting MWSCO’s full line of products and services
• Creating and executing a personalized sales plan
• Providing quotes, placing orders, and responding to customer needs with professionalism and speed
• Coordinating with branch teams to schedule deliveries and service calls
• Staying current with product knowledge and offering demos and insights to customers

• Experience in outside sales and/or industrial or welding supply preferred — but not required if you’re motivated and eager to learn!
• A two-year associate’s degree in welding, business, or a related field – or equivalent hands-on industry experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (or similar software)
• Someone who’s self-motivated, organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Degree in Electronics Technology preferred, or equivalent industry experience. Successful candidates will have an in depth understanding of electrical theory, schematic reading, electro-mechanical systems, electrical component identification. Intermediate level use of Microsoft Office software or equivalent programs (e.g. Word, Excel) required. 

• Responsible for effective equipment or process troubleshooting and repair within the Service Department.
• Responsible for all aspects of effective customer service within the Service Department.
• Explore and research new products and repair techniques to use within the Service Department.
• Interface with vendors
• Follow through on part orders and resolve issues as they arise, e.g. miss-shipped orders
• Work with existing customers to actively sell products and services
• Follow MWSCO safety policies, procedures, and goals.

• Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to move products or materials weighing 100+ pounds with the assistance of material handling equipment or coworkers.

The Credit & Collections Representative works in the Accounting Department of MWSCO. This position will contribute to departmental excellence through effective internal and external communications and excellent customer service. This full-time, Monday-Friday position will report to the Office Manager. 

• Setup and maintain customer accounts, including name changes and merging of accounts 
• Monitor AR aging to identify past due accounts, taking action to encourage timely debt payments 
• Contact customers regarding past due accounts 
• Maintain records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent account customers 
• Work with management as needed to advance collection efforts 
• Review daily application of incoming payments to ensure accuracy, compliance with financial policies and procedures and correspond with the terms of customer contract 
• Evaluate potential customers’ creditworthiness 
• Participate in monthly statement processing

• In depth understanding of account management skills and customer service philosophies
• 2 years’ experience in collections preferred
• Excellent communication skills 
• Knowledge of basic accounting
• Exhibit strong commitment to serve the customer in a professional manner
