What You'll Do
- Lead daily branch operations with a focus on efficiency, professionalism, and excellence.
- Inspire, coach, and develop your team to provide exceptional customer service.
- Drive sales, oversee inside sales activities, and support routing and delivery operations.
- Manage local inventory and ensure accuracy across all processes.
- Build strong partnerships with vendors and lead branch-level marketing initiatives.
- Review and respond to reports, trends, and business needs to keep the branch performing at its best.
- Host branch meetings and ensure clear communication with your team and across the company.
- Represent MWSCO with integrity, professionalism, and a customer-first mindset.
- 2+ years of leadership and management experience (retail, distribution, or similar preferred).
- A management or related degree is a plus—but equivalent experience counts.
- Experience in welding, industrial supply, or related industries strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of retail operations: route delivery, customer relations, DOT regulations, etc.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (or similar programs) to manage reports and data.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- A professional, customer-focused presence that inspires trust and confidence.
- Regularly lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally handle cylinders weighing 50+ lbs with equipment.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling in a physical work environment.

Accounting
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Accounting Department
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports
- Manage budgeting, cash flow, and financial analysis
- Oversee general ledger, tax reporting, and year-end accounting
- Support strategic planning and capital investment decisions
- Drive continuous improvement of financial processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 5+ years of accounting leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting principles
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems preferred

Purchasing
- Responsible for maintaining all purchase order data for the purchasing department
- Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders
- Maintain and project the professional reputation of MWS through all internal and external customer interactions.
- Authorize payment of invoices or return of property
- Maintain master vendor accounts
- Receive and screen phone calls and direct to correct personnel
High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree or two or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
