• Inspect, test, maintain, recharge, repair, and install fire extinguishers.
• Ensure all work complies with NFPA, NAFED, DOT, and company safety standards.

• Complete service reports accurately and maintain required certifications.
• Work closely with the Fire Protection team to meet customer needs and project deadlines.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• NAFED certification required-after 1st 6 months on the job.
• Fire extinguisher service experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier items with equipment assistance.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, lifting, and working in various weather conditions

• Out-of-town travel to service the MWSCO market area.
• Overnight travel required within service area and for USA training and certification.​​​​​​

• Responsible for accuracy and organization of incoming freight
• Complete outgoing orders and product requests, pull orders for Route Sales Representatives and VMI Specialists
• Initiate product returns as needed
• Assist with cycle counting process per MWSCO procedures
• Follow up on transportation and/or shipping issues as needed
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Shipping and Receiving Department
• Participate in Departmental Meetings
• Assume responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relationships with all MWSCO employees.
• Act as a backup for several roles as needed including Inside Sales Representative and VMI Specialist 

• In-depth understanding of shipping and transporting products.
• 2+ years of shipping and/or receiving experience in welding or industrial supply distribution preferred.
• Experience with MS Office products (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Regularly required to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to move products or materials weighing 100+ pounds with the assistance of material handling equipment or coworkers.
