What You'll Do
- Lead daily branch operations with a focus on efficiency, professionalism, and excellence.
- Inspire, coach, and develop your team to provide exceptional customer service.
- Drive sales, oversee inside sales activities, and support routing and delivery operations.
- Manage local inventory and ensure accuracy across all processes.
- Build strong partnerships with vendors and lead branch-level marketing initiatives.
- Review and respond to reports, trends, and business needs to keep the branch performing at its best.
- Host branch meetings and ensure clear communication with your team and across the company.

- 2+ years of leadership and management experience (retail, distribution, or similar preferred).
- A management or related degree is a plus—but equivalent experience counts.
- Experience in welding, industrial supply, or related industries strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of retail operations: route delivery, customer relations, DOT regulations, etc.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (or similar programs) to manage reports and data.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- A professional, customer-focused presence that inspires trust and confidence.
- Regularly lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally handle cylinders weighing 50+ lbs with equipment.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling in a physical work environment.

Fill Plant
Primary Duties
- Safely filling high pressure cylinders by both partial pressure and gravimetric processes while adhering to DOT and MWSCO procedures.
- Filling of various high pressure cylinders to maintain stock levels and fulfill branch orders.
- Performing general maintenance on fill manifolds, fill panels, vacuum pumps and cryogenic pumps as required.
- Entering daily liquid tank levels on the tank level board.
- Assist with general Fill Plant operations as needed.
- Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and move products or materials weighing 100+ pounds with the assistance of material handling equipment.
- Regularly lift 50 pound cylinders on/off skids as needed (manipulate/dead lift of weight).
- Frequent kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting.
- Anticipated schedule for this position is Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Evening/weekend work is possible based on customer demand

Sales
Primary Duties
- Pick, pack, load and deliver product to customers accordingly
- Maintain established stock levels at customer locations
- Maintain relationships with key customer personnel
- Ensure that customer questions and concerns are promptly and courteously resolved
- Assist with repairs and operations of vending machines as necessary
- Maintain a high level of MWSCO product knowledge in order to keep customers educated and informed on industry products and standards
- Work with walk-in customers to actively sell products and services
- Work with Branch Management and Outside Sales Representative to establish delivery schedules, process orders, and other tasks as required to meet the needs of all customers
- Assist as needed by answering phones, keying invoices, quotes, and researching customer needs
- Check in freight/UPS as needed
- Follow up to customer requests
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Professional appearance, dress, and attitude
- Good math and general problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate industry specific and standard office software proficiently
- Exhibit strong commitment to serve the customer in a professional manner
- Effectively work with customers to identify product needs
- Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds
