Route Driver | Red Wing, MN

Position Summary:

Ensure the correct, timely, and safe delivery and sale of MWSCO products to customers. Represent the company in a professional manner while interfacing with customers on product, delivery, pricing or related issues.


Primary Duties:

  • Gather and coordinate customer invoices, order requests, telephone and/or email messages regarding product delivery and route sales requirements.
  • Load products in to vehicles efficiently and safely.
  • Deliver products to customers and/or stock warehouses while abiding by load safety, DOT, TSA and general safe driving guidelines.
  • Listen to customer needs and requests and actively sell from the truck using independent judgment and discretion to satisfy the customer. When necessary, provide feedback to store manager regarding customer concerns or problems with pricing, quality, credit or if there is a need for additional follow-up.
  • Complete daily pick-up and drop off of cylinder products from the customer.
  • Easily adapt to an ever-changing workday
  • Ensure accuracy of cylinder exchange and hard goods pricing.

Payroll/Benefits Coordinator | Winona, MN

MWSCO is hiring a new Payroll/Benefits Coordinator. This position oversees the payroll process and provides support for the administration of all employee benefits. This full-time, Monday-Friday position will report to the HR Manager and will work on-site in Winona, MN. This position requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality and strong organizational skills.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Process accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll for all employees
  • Process additional monthly payroll for commission/incentive employees
  • Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, entering and auditing data
  • Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, direct deposit, etc.
  • Maintain payroll operations by following procedures, understanding proper taxation, garnishments and required reporting
  • Prepare required government reports, including EEO, 1095, etc.
  • Benefits administration including health insurance, voluntary benefits and 401K
  • Oversee updating and maintenance of HRIS
  • Process monthly billings for all group plans
  • Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
  • Maintain employee personnel files
  • Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions promptly and professionally
  • Assist with other HR-related tasks and projects as needed


Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

  • Previous experience in payroll processing and benefits administration is highly preferred
  • Experience working with ADP Workforce Now (or a similar platform)
  • Enthusiasm for planning and managing multiple projects and tasks
  • Critical to maintain high levels of confidentiality with private and crucial information. Must manage sensitive and confidential matters.

Automation Technician | MWSCO Territory

Position Summary:
The Automation Technician is responsible for providing effective equipment or process troubleshooting and repair for CNC cutting tables, robots, robotic peripherals and other related automated equipment. Perform installation and startup of robots peripherals and complete robotic systems. The Automation Technician also assumes direct responsibility for providing outstanding customer service during each service, upgrade, or repair transaction from start to finish, using discretion and judgment to satisfy customer needs.


Education & Knowledge Requirements:
Fluent in Yaskawa pendant, programming and troubleshooting a huge plus. Degree in Electronics Technology, Welding Technology, Electro-Mechanical Technology preferred, or equivalent industry experience. Thorough understanding of Automation Department operations; Currently possess or have the ability to obtain certification for ABB, Panasonic, OTC, Lincoln/Fanuc repair and or programming schools within 12 months of position acquisition as needed. Have an in depth understanding of electrical theory, schematic reading, electromechanical systems, and electrical component identification. Understand robotic programming structure, robotic mechanical function and robotic peripheral function. Are currently a Certified Weld Inspector or able to obtain credential within 24 months. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
 

Experience:
5 years’ experience is preferred in welding automation or industrial supplies business or metal
fabrication as a robotic repair technician, automation builder or robotic programmer.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of effective customer service within the Automation Department.
  • Present and explain products and services to customers and assist in meeting their needs through all stages of each transaction.
  • Maintain a high level of MWSCO product knowledge in order to keep customers educated and informed on industry products and standards.
  • Explore and research new products and repair techniques to use within the Automation Department.
  • Work with vendors regarding orders, new product introductions, application issues, defective products, product promotions and service concerns.

  • Travel and Scheduling Requirements:

  • Out of town and overnight travel for customer projects per business demand.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform skilled and specialized diagnoses, repair, and troubleshooting of welding power sources, plasma cutters, cutting tables, and other related equipment.
  • Responsible for all aspects of effective customer service within the Service Repair Department.
  • Explore and research new products and repair techniques to use within the Service Department.
  • Interface with vendors
  • Follow through on part orders and resolve issues as they arise, e.g. miss-shipped orders
  • Work with existing customers to actively sell products and services
